VISUAL IDENTITY

VISUAL IDENTITY

* Assignment brief at UNSW was to create a visual identity for the AGDA Design Awards

The AGDA Design Awards presents the best current design representation exhibition, ‘Design is creation’. Narrowing down what design means in one word is near impossible, so I figured I would start at the beginning. This is where the idea of creation is born, as it is a representation of the beginning (creation is formed through ideas derived from the brain). Minimalist graphic design is used to guarantee each component of design has a specific function. It is straightforward, simple, and attractive. AGDA's visual identity consists of variations of the word Creation using 2 dominant colours, pink and orange. A literal approach is taken using pink to represent the colours of the brain, whereas orange is a representation of energy.
